TheraPsil (www.therapsil.ca), a Canadian non-profit advocacy group, is fundraising to take the federal government to court. Patients in medical need of psilocybin and psilocybin assisted psychotherapy are having their Section 7 charter rights violated. Canadians who are in medical need do not have safe, legal, equitable, timely access to medical psilocybin therapy through the existing pathways. This urgently needs to change.
TheraPsil has engaged lawyers and are preparing for a charter challenge. This is why artists from around the world who advocate for psilocybin access for patients in need have donated 1-of-1 NFT artwork to help raise funds for this charter challenge.
