Busy creative unit, YugaLabs, has now revealed a launch date for its highly anticipated Otherside project, arriving in a whirlwind of breathtaking enthusiasm at 12pm ET on April 30th.
Following the announcement, hype for the project reached fever point. As a result, the token powering the environment, $ApeCoin, saw a 40% increase in value, reaching an impressive $17 as of writing, while the recently launched project’s Discord saw queues for verification 40k members long.

What YugaLabs has promised is an MMORPG-style universe where a range of high-class NFTs can live, play and frolic. However, following a comparatively short development window, what they will offer on launch day remains to be seen.

As like with any other successful project, nefarious ill-doers lurk within the social media space preying on eager souls. As a result, a quick tour of Twitter reveals fake accounts, dodgy Discords and a host of mischievous mint links.
So, take a deep breath, triple check the info, and gather your wits before authorizing that wallet. Remember, just because it has 27k followers, it doesn’t make it legit.
